Shell Sky was born to Wren Bark and Jaylen. She was mentored by Wren Bark. After she gets injured during training, she worries she won't be helpful in the war against DarkClan. She graduated early and was honored for her dignity. On Moon 111, she was ambushed and attacked by Swallow, but Spruce Fern heard her yowls for help and rushed to her aid.
